Lake Effect is the exquisite smooth jazz duo co-created by Neil Artwick and Robert Davis. Characterized by an attention to melodic detail and compelling liquid grooves, the group has had a successful recording career. “Brighter Moments,” their first CD released in 2007 on NuGroove Records, showcased their unique sound of latin, funk, jazz, R&B, and was a staple of smooth jazz radio. In 2011, Lake Effect released “Road to Irene’s” on the Big Deal Records label.
