As a matter of fact, they commented that several guests noted this was the best NYE at Mandalay Bay in the past 5 years, which is truly a compliment.

We were absolutely thrilled with Indigo for our daughter's wedding. We got compliments on all aspects of the wedding, but I have to say that Indigo was at the top of everyone's list. Matt and I cannot thank you enough for the stellar entertainment you and the rest of Indigo provided. EVERYONE at the wedding could not stop praising you guys. The vast majority of people on the dance floor are current or former performers (including myself) so we are particularly discerning when it comes to music; every single one of them was blown away by Indigo's performance quality and taste in song selection. And my father is still gushing about all of you.

On a personal note, we really appreciate how well you listened to the styles of music we wanted; and how well you placed each song in the set. AND the Chicago song was a truly delightful surprise - I didn't miss any horns! You completely made it work!

We first heard of Arlen Music and Indigo at a friend's wedding. The orchestra totally blew us away so we went home and wrote the name down so we would have it when our children started to plan their weddings. As luck would have it, Indigo was available for our date. We were able to view Indigo at an outdoor venue and all agreed that this was the band that we had to have! Arlen Music's staff was very professional and organized from the very first meeting. They were happy to provide a very personalized schedule for the big day. Cocktail hour entertainment was provided by solo keyboard, dinner music was provided by keyboard, bass, drums and saxophone, and then the 11-piece band took the stage to WOW our guests. Dan Nicholson, the bandleader, was our emcee for the evening. Everything was done with perfection. There are not words to describe the talent that Indigo possesses. The review was unanimous from every guest: ‘HANDS DOWN, BEST WEDDING BAND EVER!’ The dance floor was filled the entire evening and when midnight struck, they wanted more. Thank you so much for providing a dream come true wedding for our children. We are still talking about "the band" and it gives us a chance to sit back, smile and reminisce of that perfect day that goes by too quickly. We have two more children to get married, and Indigo will be the entertainment!

Thanks to Indigo, our party was a HUGE success. We chaired the 27th Annual Zoo Ball benefiting the Milwaukee County Zoo and were really intent on shaking things up this year. Music is important to us and it was critical that we select a good band that would cater to a wide variety of tastes as well as offer something new and refreshing. Indigo nailed it.

Indigo is a group of young, talented musicians with a hip repertoire. They blew us away. We booked them to play during the dinner / dessert hour, the main event of a three-tiered entertainment venue. The band played a mix of music that appealed to all generations. The dance floor was packed the entire evening. Upon completion of the dinner hour, many of our guests were so engrossed in dancing, they didn't realize a final "late night" venue awaited. People enjoyed Indigo so much and stayed until the last song. They were phenomenal.

Indigo's Bandleader Dan Nicholson was awesome to work with. He was poised, polished and professional. He was able to read the crowd and tailor the music accordingly. There was no need for us to pick through long song lists. He took care of that and created a fun and energetic vibe. He is truly gifted and talented. In addition to his musical talents, his tech-savviness made it easy to coordinate announcements (with a simple alarm programmed into his cell phone). Every announcement was timed perfectly and seamlessly. He and the band also threw in a few fun riffs as our raffle winners were being announced. Dan also worked with our caterer and staggered dance sets around dining and clearing of tables. He didn't skip a beat. We and our staff truly appreciated the little details that Dan took care of to personalize our event.

Our Ball's entertainment was flawless, thanks to Indigo. Simply stated, Indigo ROCKS.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for an amazing performance at our daughter’s wedding. You exceeded our expectations and provided great dancing music for all ages attending. From Aneli’s and Tim’s grandparents to the younger generations, there was absolutely not one person who did not walk into that elevator without commenting on the quality of the musicians and “the fun they have not had like that” in years. I would like you to know how happy Michael and I were with Indigo at our wedding reception. Everyone was up dancing so much that there was no room on the dance floor. Following a seated dinner prepared by Calihan Catering, many guests danced to the Ken Arlen’s Indigo in the Daniel F. and Ada L. Rice Grand Foyer until midnight. Others enjoyed elegant chocolates by Godiva in the Opera Club, which was dubbed the GoDiva Lounge for the evening. Sometime after 11 p.m. mezzo-soprano Susan Graham joined Ken Arlen’s Indigo onstage for an impromptu rendition of George Gershwin’s “Summertime.” Guests on the main floor stopped dancing to listen, while those on the mezzanine level (including Lyric general director William Mason and his wife Diana Davis), crowded the rail to watch. Mezzo soprano Joyce DiDonato, who earlier in the evening had crooned “My Funny Valentine” during the cabaret, encouraged her fellow mezzo to go for the high C.
