I have been to many weddings and I have never heard so many compliments for the orchestra! So many guests said they enjoyed the music, and many emails afterwards expressed the same thought. They liked the songs, they liked the mix and they liked the dancing. The vocalists were great, and your violinists in particular looked like they were enjoying themselves and that enjoyment was reflected in their playing. They made a difference and we are glad we added them.
Some people also added that they enjoyed the fact that they were able to talk comfortably during dinner.

"Ken, I knew that the band would be good - really good - but they completely blew us all away, and helped make the evening one that will never be forgotten.
Tyler, [the bride], had a rough day. There was torrential downpour during the day and it wasn’t pretty. Anyhow, by the time I got to the garden, the Sirens were already playing, I met David [Young] and I knew we were going to be okay. He welcomed Tyler in with his trumpet, and she looked over at me and smiled, and so it began...The band kicked in with the music at the reception, and no one remembered that rain was even an issue. I don’t think Tyler ever left the dance floor; I saw my parents-in-law dance more than I ever have; they were ecstatic and couldn’t stop talking about the music. My father-in-law woke up hoarse the next morning and told me that he didn’t know if he lost his voice on Sweet Home Alabama or Go Johnny, Go (among others).
At the wedding and continuing into the brunch on Sunday, everyone congratulated me about your band, and I gladly accepted the compliments :-). They were really awesome – and so incredibly professional. David, the Ring Master, is so good at what he does, and ridiculously smooth – he could lead us into war with his trumpet and we would happily follow him dancing. The vocalists (Nick, Leslie, Christina, and Michael) are all so versatile and amazing, and sounded as good as, and in many cases better than the artists on all their songs. Please thank them all for adding so much musically to Tyler and Ryan’s day. Tyler had the best party EVER and couldn’t be happier, and I’m grateful that you could contribute so greatly to that. I look forward to hearing you again, dancing to your music, and singing with you – no matter which side of the stage we’re on. Until then...my thanks!"

The music filled the entire room with an incredible sound, and when coupled with the way the room was decorated, made the ceremony feel heaven like. The music during the cocktail hour continued the festive mood and made it feel like the party had already started and that it was not just a time to drink and eat.
The music at the party -- WOW and AMAZING. Maureen and I have been on the phone for hours since the wedding as each guest calls to tell us what a great time they had and each guest has made it a point to go on and on about how the music was so great. The proof was in the fact that at 1:00 a.m. the dance floor was still overflowing with guests dancing and not just the youngins but the oldsters too. I knew your music was rocking when I looked across the dance floor and saw my 92 year old father dancing with my wife -- and it wasn't to a slow ballad. Not only was the music great but the energy from each member of your orchestra was visible and contagious. And, you are a great master of ceremonies; you not only ran the party like clock work but you observed the dance floor and took cues from what the guests were doing.
The best part for me, as father of the bride, came at the very end of the evening when you came to Natalie to congratulate her again and she told you that you had given her the wedding she had dreamed of since she was a little girl. It is every father's hope that he can make his child's dreams come true. Thank you for helping me make Natalie's dream come true. I cannot wait to attend another Ken Arlen function and I will be checking your web site to see what charity events you will be at. Maureen and I and our friends will contribute just so we can attend and dance to your great music. Thank you Ken. You are a true professional and it was soooo much fun working with you as well. "In 2010 the Gala committee contracted the services of the Ken Arlen Orchestra for the event entertainment. Ken had previously provided the entertainment for the Gala in 2006 so, we were aware of his professionalism and the quality of his work. We know that the evening would be fun and high energy. But we didn’t know that the services supplied by Ken and his group would be so much more.
The evening of the event, sever storms hit our area and sent rain water flooding through the tent. It looked like at the very worse the event would be cancelled and at the very least that people would be angry with the situation. Once the band came on stage and started to play, they had the crowd in the palm of their hands. The band played as if the evening was perfect and completely changed the mood of the event. The guests stayed, partying and dancing until 12:30 a.m. We have had numerous compliments on the event and our choice of entertainment.
